Signs claim a bunch of 'ninjas' snuck into the school on Sunday to prepare the explosion of East pride that is 'East Spirit Week'.  Rumours have it that prefects, who have been secretly planning the event with Ms Haughton and the caretakers, were at school from 9am to 6.30pm.

On arriving at school on Monday students were greeted by gold and blue streamers and tape adorning almost every nook and cranny of the school, from the staff toilets to the front gate.  Highlights include the photo montages in East Wing and the giant clothes-line of East themed clothes hanging right across the quad.

There are a few surprises planned for the week, which started up with a giant game of buddies-up on Monday at lunch.  On Friday there will be a mass photo in the quad, with everyone in their blue and yellow themed mufti.
