| Description | While the end of year can be a 'down time', the juniors are busier than ever at WEGC. Year 10s are completing their first NCEA assessment for English, with their Level 1 speeches on 'Show Me How'. In their lunch times and even after school, classes are preparing their Junior Stage Challenge items which involve directing, choreographing, dancing, preparing costumes and sets , and involve the entire class. These are on next Wednesday afternoon. Year 9s are gearing up for their Zine Fest next week in Art classes with some extension students involved in a Mini United Nations tomorrow. They are also writing and practising their class pantomimes, which are on next Tuesday afternoon. Two classes, 954 and 961, are in the final of the inter-class debating tournament on Friday, argueing the case 'That All Drugs Should be Legal'. |
