The annual Music Department Concert was testimony to the hard work musicians and singers have been putting in all year.

The concert opened with a bang with a performance from Rock Quest entrants, Professor Plum, and items from the orchestra, concert band, school choir, junior choir, Cantala, multi choir and the ukulele band followed.

The choirs all have the Big Sing coming up and this performance was their dress rehearsal. 

Music is now headed by Brent Stewart, who is also percussionist for the Vector Wellington Orchestra.  He took over from Heather Jones last year and he was very happy with this first big event for his students.  Music Prefect Emily Wilby had also put in a lot of hard work behind the scenes in preparation for the night.
