| Description | Anna Wilkes, a Year 13 student from 2008, has been awarded the John Burns Study Award, presented by the Public Trust and Royal NZ Navy. She was one of four Wellington students to receive part of the $10,000 scholarship at a presentation on February 2nd. Recipients were chosen for courage and commitment to study, two key elements 'at the heart of the Navy's core values'. Anna is planning to complete a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Canterbury. Below: Anna and the Rear Admiral, as well as the trust manager at Public Trust which administers/manages the Award.
