A team of six Year 13 girls has come second to Onslow at the regional Physics competition.  In the final round of the competition, the team even managed to outscore Onslow, but by then it was too late for a comeback.

The competition involves problem-solving and the team had to come up with a solutions to several scenarios,  which they had to justify in a panel situation with other schools able to question their reasoning.

Congratulations to the team and Miss Campkin, who has been working closely with them.  They now go on to nationals in Auckland, from which the NZ team to represent the country at the world champs will be selected.
