The Sports Committee and PE Department have organised a week of fun lunch-time events to encourage students to be smoke-free. A former NZ Idol winner will be performing later in the week and is setting up a support group for students who want to quit smoking, which several people have already signed up for. The health nurse is also in school this week with heavily subsidised (cheap!) nicotine patches and advice on how to quit.
