| Description | There are two events in the next month designed to get students, staff, parents and whanau thinking about learning, how schools work and why we need to think seriously about change: Thinking about Learning When: 28 October 7.00pm Who: Year 10 Students and Jane Gilbert Where: WEGC Library Year 10 students will present some of their thinking about schooling and they will be joined by Jane Gilbert, NZCER who has been involved in leading thinking about these issues. What’s the Point of School? When: 2 November, 6.30pm Who: Guy Claxton Where: Randwick School, Lower Hutt This is a great opportunity to hear Guy Claxton, a popular British education thinker, author and speaker. NZCER are putting on this event free for schools who are part of a research project with them. |
