The annual semi-formal was a roaring success.  This year's theme was 'Welcome to the Jungle' and costumes ranged from boa constrictor snakes to Slash from Guns 'n Roses.

The ball committee, lead by Events Prefects Ellen and Amelia, wore matching tour guide outfits and had made an impressive jungle entrace-way.

Awards went to:

• Best couple - Danielle and her partner in the Flintstones car (Mediterrranean Food Warehouse voucher)
• Best dancer - Elise in her Max costume (Frutti goodies)
• Best female group - the snakes (Body Shop goodies)
• Best male group - the lumberjacks (McDonald's vouchers)
• Most original costume - Mengxi in her styrofoam cup skull head costume (Spacesuit voucher)
• Best dressed - Olivia Porter in her plumed hat (free ball ticket)
