Photos from the night. The quad was full of Year 9 students, tuakana, prefects, parents and teachers on Wednesday night. It was the annual 'Year 9 BBQ' which is held as a chance for parents to meet teachers in an informal environment and to see their daughters' classrooms. About 400 people were in attendance, which exceeded expectations and is a sign of strong links between home and school. The Year 13s graciously handed out the food (and even helped one poor little sister who fell into the fountain). It was fantastic to see them give up their free time for the school. |
