Board of Trustees Election
Election Results
The newly elected Board met for the first time on May 25. Welcomed were newly elected parent trustees, Erina Papp and Jill Ford, and the new staff representative Kate Potter. Douglas Ferry was elected as Chair and Amanda Malu was elected as Deputy Chair. The following co-opted trustees were appointed:
Colleen Beaumont - Old Girs' Association
Yvonne Carroll - Whanau Group
Bessie Fepuleai - Pacific Islands Representative
Brett Lineham - Strategic Planning, Policy
Being a Board Member
The purpose of the Board is to govern the school. Our primary focus is on raising the achievement of all students. Our decisions involve:
- the appointment of senior staff
- decisions about the property and finances of the school and
- involvement in decisions about curriculum.
